Even professional gemologists cannot evaluate the quality of fine gems or jewelry sight unseen. A diamond that looks great on paper may not have that desired sparkle upon inspection. Quality of workmanship and manufacturing can only be truly evaluated first hand.

Here's how GSI's GEM Web I.D. works:
Ask your e-commerce merchant to ship the purchased gem or jewelry, along with its grading report, directly to GSI's New York laboratory. Our trained graders will give you an independent evaluation that the stone corresponds with its report and provide a GEM Web I.D. Report.

Please note that a grading report is required for this service; it does not have to be a GSI Grading Report.

Your purchase, its grading report, and the GEM Web I.D. will be shipped directly to you.
