The Gem Experience

The parent company of GSI is Gem Experience, LLC. We chose this name for the corporation and for our website for two reasons:

1) We are a group of gemologists and professionals with decades of experience in the jewelry and gemological fields, and

2) We want you to experience the unique and magical beauty of gemstones, from a perspective that you may not have had before -- that of the trained gemologist who studies and explores these unique gems -- no two alike.

The GEM Experience will provide a glimpse "through the scope" at a diamond as well as a better understanding of the process of purchasing one. Our grading reports are comprehensive, complete with instructions as to how to read them. You'll know, for example, what "D" color looks like, or what is "strong blue fluorescence." The reports will allow you to have enough technical information to make an intelligent buying decision.

GSI is also an educational organization for the jewelry trade, through brochures, lectures, trade shows, public relations, and our website. We strongly believe that research and education are key to the health of our industry.

Most important, The GEM Experience is, like jewelry, very personal. How does the jewelry make you feel? What will it make the person you're buying it for feel like?

We tell our customers, "Don't buy a gemstone on the basis of its credentials or a piece of paper. Buy it because you fall in love with it, because it 'winks' at you."
